Vodafone is going to buy communication provider company Cable and Wireless Worldwide. This news announced on Monday. Heads of companies unveiled the agreement. Vodafone is agreed to buy Cable & Wireless for £1.04 Billion. As the Vodafone’s official press center marked this deal will let to mobile operator to increase traffic and use CWW network in 35 countries.
Cable and Wireless Worldwide (CWW) owns 20,500 km long network in the UK, and 425,000 km long in internationally, with 127 points in 35 countries. Also Cable and Wireless owns undersea cables.
With great deal Vodafone is able to provide high speed mobile networks for costumers.
Remarkable that Cable and Wireless Worldwide operates the largest fiber-optic network in the UK. As well as the fiber network is the one of the main reasons for Vodafone agreed to a deal as they are going to increase mobile internet and internet traffic rapidly.
Vodafone chief Vittorio Colao said that Cable and wireless Worldwide is the leader in communication segment not only for UK.
As the official Vodafone announced on presentation this deal will be the great opportunity for enterprise customers to purchase advanced total communications services from a single provider.
